Passive arming alarm

The alarm can be enabled even if the vehicle is not locked. The following only applies if your vehicle is equipped with the passive arming feature.

Passive arming

The passive arming feature is active by default.

The alarm will arm if:
  • there are no occupants detected in the vehicle
  • the doors have been closed for more than 90 seconds.

You can double-check that this feature is active via the Disable passive arming 72 h setting in the center display.
