In the Volvo Cars app you can find information on the vehicle's battery and charging.

Estimated range

Your vehicle's estimated range depends on several factors and is shown in the driver display. For C40 and XC40 Recharge Pure Electric with model year 2024, a range lower than expected might be shown in the driver display when you pick up your new vehicle.

General information about range and battery

Your vehicle's range is primarily related to the battery and your driving behavior. External conditions, such as cold temperatures, can also have an influence. There are some things you can do to minimize the risk of damage to the battery and to improve the range, such as charging the vehicle when parked in cold temperatures and keeping the battery level within a certain range during long-term storage.
